Welcome to the Inspiration Boards!  So glad you found me and my teeny tiny corner of the web  :-)  Sit, grabba cuppa Joe, stay a while and read all about it.

So why me, why this blog?

I am a huge fan of the Inspiration Board (aka, “Mood Board”).   I have three canvases hanging in my office, each plastered with eye-candy clippings from my favorite magazines.  They sit in front of my workspace, and provide an instant snapshot of the colors, textures and patterns that make me happy - and a Happy Me is a very good place to be (hubby and daughter will attest to this).  I think they do wonders for my creative soul.

In my professional life as a stationery designer, clients always ask the same question when planning their event: Where do I start?

And I have used the same pre-formatted response pointing them to a fat list of links of blogs and pages chock-full of Inspiration Boards.  Client ends up having to click all over cyberspace, becoming increasingly overwhelmed with info and visuals along the way, gets sucked into computer and spat out through the printer.  hmmmm ……

I’m all about efficiency.  What if I could pull all of this inspiration together - and categorize it (oooooh …) and present some loveliness to spark more inspiration (aaahhhh …..) ?   And so the Inspiration Boards were born.
